Shira Amrany

 Shira is an experienced professional with 10+ years of experience in hotel and restaurant development and finance, having studied business in the hospitality industry at Cornell University. More recently (since Covid), she learned how to code and has been working as a software engineer. Her mom drilled into her head at a young age not to spend more on her credit card than she could afford to pay, and she learned the beauty of compound growth and deal structuring in her various professional roles. Shira is very passionate about financial literacy and how taking a proactive role in your personal finances from a young age can change the course of one’s life — enabling more choices, greater stability, and freedom. She’s been a volunteer with BAFEF since 2021.
