Alo Martins, CFA

Alo is a Senior Portfolio Manager with the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System. He is part of a 20 person team responsible for managing approximately $35 billion of SF City pension assets. Alo focuses on the Plan’s Public Fixed Income portfolio. Prior to joining SF City, Alo was a consultant with Cambridge Associates, advising college endowments and charitable foundations on investment related matters. He graduated from Northeastern University with bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics. Alo is a CFA Charterholder and he began volunteering with BAFEF in 2021.
